Marwan al-Shehhi reports his United Arab Emirates (UAE) passport lost—it is valid until 8 April 2002—in order to obtain a new, clean one that shows no travel to Pakistan and Afghanistan. On January 2, 2000, he is issued a new passport (#A0560773), which he uses to enter the United States.
